Well, hello there. We are the Floozies. I'm Matt Hill and this is my brother Mark, aka Easy Money. It's nice to meet you too. Yes, we are indeed brothers, thanks for asking.

How do we do what we do? That's a very common question, don't be embarrassed. Well, I plug my guitar and keyboards into this here hardware looper. Then we just start making the fresh, organic beetz we've become known for. Sometimes Mark will decide what kind of beat it is, sometimes I do. It's a very collaborative thing that we do. After all, we are brothers. (Chuckle). Sibling rivalry? Haha, no. Not for a long time. We're more like best friends. Best friends born from the same funk-loving parents.

Pre-recorded? HA! Heavens no! We don't even use a metronome. Who do you think you're talking to brah? Nothing's pre-recorded. We are not an iPod. We're people. No sampling, no pre-recording, no planning. Just us, loops, and a ridiculous raging dance party. Plus a couple face-melting solos scattered here and there. It's best to think of it like a delicious, filling meal that doesn't weigh you down afterwards. Some hearty, organic beetz, well-seasoned, with lovely, intense dynamics on the side. Plenty of scrumptious textures created by those diverse, delicious synth instruments we mentioned earlier, and a nice garnish of epic, explorative solos. All served on a bed of solid, subtly flashy, hip hop and funk informed drumming. And it's all farmed locally and created by us, the Brothers Hill.

And we're not aliens. In fact, I'm a scorpio and in addition to my love of making music and looping things, I enjoy watching and playing basketball, eating food, and having a beard. I also like a good 'ol fashioned night at the movies and at one point I really liked Creed. As for Mark "Easy Money" Hill, well, he likes frisbee golf, beat-making, and kicking the peanut around over coffee and cigarettes. He is a Taurus, and is known for having exceptionally cool hats.

So we hope you enjoy the music off of our brand new, free (that's right, it's free) album. It's a collection of some of our favorite tunes taken off of various live recordings. Some improvs, some covers, and some originals that have made appearances at multiple shows. Consider it a gift from us to you. And in exchange, just come see us when we come through your hood.
